my name is Michel Mohrmann. I am born in 1974.

I have over three decades of software development experience covering a wide range of environments, systems, methods and philosophies that passed by or stayed over the years.

and still: i am hungry for more.

I have developed software for a huge range of devices, including iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, Windows, and Linux, using languages like Swift, Objective-C, PHP, OpenEdge ABL, perl, Python and many many more.

Since 2012 my passion is development for  Apple platforms. Mainly iOS / iPadOS but also macOS, watchOS and tvOS focusing on Swift / SwiftUI but coming from an Objective-C background.

Responsibilities include:

1. AquaCalculator - the number one App for enthusiatic reefer (iOS / macOS). Subscription based solution with a couple thousand active users and a few hundred positive feedbacks on the AppStore (adding up the older non-subscription based app and the new subscription based).
2. a self hosted CakePHP backend connected via a REST API to the AquaCalculator App.
3. aPedia - Aquarium Encyclopedia - an App (iOS / macOS (Catalyst)) providing Information about animals you might want to keep care of in your aquarium. Designed to work with AquaCalculator. Technically an App done completely in `SwiftUI. Incorporates a massive administrative layer for gathering and enriching data from various REST-APIs.
4. Photowunder / GPSFix - (iOS / macOS (Catalyst)). An App to help you fix your missing or false location data in your Photos Library.
5. some smaller apps active in the AppStore.
